What Gary Brings to the Team

Before entering the insurance industry, Gary spent 23 years as an elementary and middle school teacher — a career that demanded one essential skill above all else: finding ways to explain complex information clearly and in terms people can actually connect with. That skill didn't stop at the classroom door; it extended to parents and families as well.

That same instinct now drives how Gary approaches every client interaction. He brings a calm, patient manner and years of practiced active listening, making sure he truly understands what someone needs before advising them on a practical path forward.

How Gary Will Assist You

Gary takes a consultative approach with every client, reviewing their policy in detail and using specifics relevant to their own family and circumstances. Rather than speaking in generalities, he draws on real stories and examples to help clients see clearly whether their current coverage is working for their most valuable assets — or leaving gaps that could affect their future.

From billing and payment plan options to policy deductibles, coverage details, and umbrella coverage, Gary helps clients understand what they have and how to make the most of it while staying within their budget.

Life Outside the Office

Gary has been married to his wife Jennifer for 24 years and together they're raising three boys, including a set of twins. They enjoy the quiet of country living, and you'll often find Gary outside — splitting and stacking firewood, gathering around a campfire, or planning a trip to the Adirondacks for some kayaking.

Music is a big part of Gary's life — he listens to just about everything, with a particular love for classic rock, hard rock, and heavy metal. He's a dedicated fan of The Doors and Van Halen. When it comes to books and films, he's never far from Middle-earth or a James Bond adventure, whether that's Tolkien and Ian Fleming on the page or the films on screen. He and his family also play pitch at their local gun club.

Fast Fact: If colleagues were to vote, Gary would be "most likely to cause trouble" — just ask him about his ideas for office pranks.
