Life Outside the Office
When not in the office, Brittany enjoys life with Andy, her husband of over 7 years, who she describes as outgoing and energetic—quite the opposite of herself. They share their home with two rescue dogs, Olive and Penny, who they take daily to Jamesville Dog Park.
Brittany and Andy are foster parents who have had five children in their care over the last four years, an experience she finds challenging but extremely rewarding.
Brittany spends much of her free time refinishing old furniture, attending yoga classes, collecting unique earrings, and visiting estate sales. She recently joined a book club to expand her reading horizons and meets monthly with Foster Hope NY, where foster parents and kinship families discuss new approaches to supporting children in care.
In the coming year, Brittany looks forward to visiting her husband in France and Brazil during his deployments.
