Heather has been a licensed insurance agent since 2002 and joined our team in January 2025.
What Heather Brings to the Team
Two decades of insurance experience inform Heather's approach to client service. She prioritizes active listening and asks thoughtful questions to gain clarity about each individual situation.
Her years in the industry across different markets—beginning in Kentucky and now in New York—have provided her with diverse perspectives that she applies when addressing client questions and concerns.
How Heather Will Assist You
She utilizes real-life scenarios to illustrate how different coverages apply in various situations, helping to make abstract policy concepts more concrete. Heather focuses on discussing the fundamental purpose and value of insurance protection.
When exploring budget considerations, she presents different options and discusses potential advantages and limitations of various coverage selections, providing information that can help clients determine what aligns with their priorities.
Life Outside the Office
When not in the office, Heather enjoys time with her husband James, to whom she'll be married for 8 years this July. They share a blended family with his two young men, James Jr. and Ryan, who live nearby, while her two adult children, Meghan and Jacob, reside in Kentucky along with Meghan's daughter (Heather's granddaughter) Arianna, who will soon be 15.
Heather recently retired in January from her position as the Town of Mexico Court Clerk, a role she held for 8 years, and is now discovering the concept of spare time.
She enjoys relaxing with a fire at the Riverbank, which is her backyard, or traveling to Kentucky to visit her family. For personal relaxation, Heather often turns to a good mystery book to help her escape and unwind.
Heather is voted most likely to lend a hand.
