What Carrie Brings to the Team

Before insurance, Carrie worked in medical billing for the emergency room doctors at Upstate, where she handled no-fault claims and worked through the auto and workers' compensation claims process.

That background gave her a practical, ground-level understanding of how a claim moves from the first call through resolution, including which party to file with depending on the situation. She also brings sales experience to the table, rounding out a foundation that carries over naturally into her work as an agent today.

Carrie's approach starts with getting on the client's level. She breaks insurance terms down so they make sense, and she treats every caller the way she'd want to be treated if their roles were reversed.

How Carrie Will Assist You

Carrie takes the time to be thorough with each client, walking through coverage options with a kind, inviting approach.

She focuses on the fundamentals: what your policy terms mean and what you're paying for. Making insurance simple to understand is something she sees as genuinely valuable to clients.

When working through coverage, Carrie takes a customer-focused approach, asking about your household and how life has changed so she can help adjust your coverage as those changes happen.

Life Outside the Office

When she's not in the office, Carrie enjoys lemonade, TLC reality shows, and a good weekend nap.

She's also a potter, having practiced the craft for several years, and she likes trying out new crafts whenever the chance comes along. A self-described comedy fanatic, Carrie enjoys catching live stand-up when she can, and she makes it a priority to spend time with her family. Getting outside for a run or a walk rounds out her free time.

Carrie loves reading biographies and autobiographies about influential figures and entertainers, and comedy movies are a favorite too.
